Dubai Arena ‘Almost’ Complete and All Set for 2019 Opening

For those who’ve passed through City Walk as of late, you might have noticed that the impressive venue which has a 17,000 guest capacity is starting to take form, with its façade already completed, and it is nothing short of spectacular, as expected.

According to Dubai Arena’s developer, Meraas, work on external infrastructure and landscaping, which includes paving and parking spaces, is going as scheduled. Finishing touches are also being done to the first of the arena’s 46 hospitality suites.

Once completed, the Dubai Arena will become the largest, multi-purpose, air-conditioned indoor arena in the Middle East to date.

Under the management of international operator AEG Ogden, who also operates the O2 Arena in London, the newest entertainment venue in Dubai seeks to further strengthen the city’s position on the international entertainment touring circuit, and provide audiences with the opportunity to witness some of the world’s most talented performers and exciting sporting events — right in the very heart of Dubai, shared Meraas group chairman Abdulla Al Habbai.

With the expected opening of the Dubai Arena in 2019, citizens and tourists alike will have to be on the constant lookout for the biggest names and hottest events coming to Dubai, year in and out!
