We went to Fiesta Pinoy, a restaurant serving Filipino food which is located opposite Al Bassam Center in Al Siddique Street, Rigga. We wanted to check out other restaurants that serve Filipino cuisine here in Dubai and there were surely aplenty in this district.

Filipino Food Buffet by Fiesta Pinoy in Deira
The Fiesta Pinoy food shop offers a Filipino buffet that costs around 39 AED (excluding drinks) so you can eat till your heart’s content with traditional Pinoy cuisine. When we were there, they had beef pochero, laing, chicken tinola, chicken embutido, pancit, fish manchurian etc. They also have fruits and cake as desserts after a satisfying meal. What I liked during our visit was the vegetable spring rolls and the chicken tinola.

They have a la carte options if you don’t want to dig into the buffet. The restaurant is also spacious which is great because there’s more room to feast while enjoying the company of friends/family.

Fiesta Pinoy also has branches in Reef Mall in Deira and one in Al Ain. If you’re looking for some quick Pinoy cuisine, you might want to check this restaurant out.
Al Rigga – A Busy District for Pinoys and other Nationalities in Dubai
Al Rigga is one of the districts in Dubai that has a high ratio of OFWs. Other areas include Al Satwa and Al Karama. Still Rigga seems to be one of the most popular choices as it’s also a busy area even at night. You will most likely find a shawarma stand/restaurant/fastfood outlet that’s open even in the wee hours of the morning.

Directions: Stop at Rigga Metro station (Red Line) walk towards the intersection where the mosque is located. Cross the street through the bridgewalk and you will see the restaurant which is opposite Al Bassam Center.
