Until the Police hoverbikes are fully deployed in the city, criminals will have to deal with ‘Giath’ – a state-of-the-art police patrol vehicle by the Dubai Police Force.
The unveiling of the police’s newest and most tech-advanced vehicle was made in a post through one of the Dubai Police’s official social media accounts.
Dubai Police Unveils ‘Giath,’ the Crime-busting Police Mobile
According to the post, Giath is one of the most advanced police vehicles in the whole world, as it is equipped artificial intelligence (AI) systems with face recognition capabilities.
The patrol also features hi-tech facilities, such as touch screen monitors, and a computer system with crime-solving abilities, such as a tracking system to locate vehicles used by criminals on the loose.
Moreover, the vehicle is equipped with a state-of-the-art communication system that is directly connected to the department’s command operations room.
Giath is yet another feat for the Dubai Police, in addition to its record title for having the ‘world’s fastest patrol supercar,’ which the police force achieved last year.
The Bugatti Veyron sports car was included in the Guinness Book of World Records as the ‘fastest police patrol car in the world.’ For this distinction, the Guinness certificate was received by Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.
