The much-awaited Museum of the Future is fast taking shape, as the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) announced the completion of the building structure, the Dubai Media Office reported.
Situated along Sheikh Zayed Road, near Emirates Towers, the Museum of the Future is set to be a brand new destination for all citizens, residents, and tourists alike. It will showcase futuristic innovations and technologies that would eventually become part of our everyday life!
Museum of the Future Structure Now Completed
“The museum will provide visitors the opportunity to experience the future now,” stated Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Managing Director of DFF. “It will be the destination for scientists, experts, innovators, and creative minds, from all over the world, to design and shape the future.”
Moreover, Al Gergawi mentioned that the Museum of the Future is part of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The futuristic museum is set to open in the year 2020.
Amazingly, the Museum of the Future shall:
- Feature a unique exterior design, inscribed with Arabic calligraphy;
- Serve as an “incubator” for concepts developed by local and international innovators;
- Transform the emirate of Dubai into a “global hub” for emerging technologies; and
- Help develop long-term solutions addressing the requirements and challenges of the future.
