It’s not even Valentine’s Day, and yet Prince Hamdan has set hearts a flutter with his latest Instagram post… an aerial photo of beautiful lakes, in the shape of two interlocking hearts!

You heard that right! There are heart-shaped lakes near Al Qudra, whose stunning view appears to have captivated the Crown Prince of Dubai himself, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He excitedly shared the image on social media:
Crown Prince Dedicates “Love Lakes” to Followers
If you are looking for a refreshing getaway from the city, just take a 30-minute drive to Al Qudra Lakes. Here, you will find “Love Lakes,” which take the shape of two intertwined hearts. When viewed from above, you will notice that the trees spell out “Love.” How romantic!
Indeed, even Prince Hamdan dedicated the “heart-touching” image of Love Lakes to his followers on Instagram, using the words, “To all of you <3.”

Aside from seeing the lakes, there are plenty of things to do in the area. You can go biking around the Al Qudra Cycling Track, enjoy a picnic with your friends, or simply gaze at the amazing wildlife. Check out these gorgeous flamingos, which seem to be “in love.” How cute!
If you’re lucky, you might even spot a desert fox, an Arabian oryx, and numerous species of birds, including ducks, geese, swans, and many more! Since this is a natural area, please take note that there are no facilities, so be sure to come prepared and don’t leave any trash!
