Sharaf Retail, the company with brands such as Sharaf DG, Forever 21, Cotton On, Sanrio, Adventure HQ, Yellow Hat, YooMoo and Hello Kitty Spa, is looking to hire hundreds of candidates across its various departments.
The company has launched a website Tareeki.com for its hiring plans. “With the addition of new brands to our portfolio, new store openings in existing markets and geographical expansion, we anticipate hiring approximately 1,500 employees in the next 18 months,” said Yasser Sharaf, Managing Director of Sharaf Retail.
The additional staff will be assigned to new and existing outlets in the Gulf, Levant, Far East, Asia. Analysts earlier estimated that the GCC retail industry alone is expected to achieve a compound annual growth rate of 8.3 per cent until 2015.
