We bought movie tickets at the VOX Cinema in Deira City Center (DCC) to watch World War Z starring Brad Pitt. The movie would not start until after an hour so we had time to spare to eat in one of the restaurants in DCC. We were strolling at the hallway with many restaurants near the cinema and decided to eat at Uno Chicago Grill.

The Chicago Uno Grill reminds me of Chili’s or even Fridays because of the pasta and American menu. They have other cuisines available but we ordered beef burger with fries, shrimp pasta in vermecille noodles and strawberry cheesecake. We were so full!
We opted to stay outside as the atmosphere was brighter.

VOX Cinema Tie-Up with Uno Grill
If you purchase your meals in Uno Chicago Grill, you can buy movie tickets at discounted prices. The difference is not that much, around 4 to 5 Dirhams, but still getting a cinema ticket at a cheaper rate would’ve been nice. You can book your movie schedules right at the restaurant. Had we known this option, we wouldn’t have to buy our movie passes earlier. Oh well, maybe next time.
