DUBAI: Dubai Police recorded a 99.9% score in the daytime safety perception index for 2025, according to a Security Quality of Life Survey.
The survey was conducted by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior.
The result shows that most people in Dubai feel safe during the day and night. Below are the rest of the results of the said survey:
- Overall Security – quality of life index: 98.2%
- Daytime safety perception index – 99.9%
- Feeling of safety while walking at night – 98.7%
- Public confidence in police stations – 96.2%
It also reflects the city’s wider focus on public safety, fast response, digital services, and community trust.

High Scores for Night Safety and Police Trust
Dubai Police also achieved an overall score of 98.2% in the Security Quality of Life Index.
The index includes three main areas.
These are daytime safety, feeling safe while walking at night, and public confidence in police stations.

It also scored 96.2% for public confidence in police stations.
Brigadier Saeed Abdullah bin Tuwair Al Suwaidi, Assistant Undersecretary for Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, praised Dubai Police for the results.
He said the scores reflect the work of both operational and administrative teams in building public trust.

Digital Police Services Used by Millions
Dubai Police also reported strong growth in digital services.
In 2025, the force reached a 97.7% digital adoption rate for transactions.
It also processed more than 218 million digital transactions during the year.
Customer happiness with digital channels reached 96.9%.
This means many residents are now using online police services instead of visiting service centres.
For Dubai residents and workers, this can mean faster access to services such as reports, requests, and other police-related transactions.
Emergency and Non-Emergency Calls Reach 6.9 Million
Dubai Police handled 6.9 million emergency and non-emergency calls in 2025.
The figure shows the scale of public demand for police support and response services.
The force said the results also reflect its work in smart security systems, innovation, future readiness, contact centre performance, and institutional service quality.
Dubai Police also scored 93.3% in the Future Readiness and Innovation Index.
This points to its continued move toward technology-based policing and better planning.
Global Recognition for Dubai Police
Dubai Police received 51 awards during the period.
This included 12 international honours.
In 2025, Dubai Police also topped a global ranking for police brand value by Brand Finance.
It received the highest AAA+ brand strength rating, with a score of 9.2 out of 10.
The ranking covered areas such as ethics, performance, transparency, and innovation.
Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, credited the achievements to the support of UAE leaders, the Dubai Government, and the Ministry of Interior.
