DUBAI: Dubai residents who need a Police Clearance Certificate can complete their request online through Dubai Police.
The certificate, also called a Good Conduct Certificate, confirms a person’s criminal status in the UAE.
It may be requested for employment, study, immigration, professional licensing, visa processing, or another official procedure.
Five channels accept PCC applications
Applicants can access the service through the Dubai Police website, Dubai Police mobile app, DubaiNow, Smart Police Stations, or the 901 call centre.
The Dubai Police website, app, and Smart Police Stations operate around the clock.
Regular police stations also provide the service from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Digital applicants can submit their information and pay without going to a station, unless Dubai Police requires fingerprints or further identity checks.

Residents pay Dh200 plus added charges
The certificate fee is Dh100 for UAE citizens and Dh200 for UAE residents.
Applicants submitting a request from outside the UAE pay Dh300 or US$88.
Dubai Police also charges Dh20 in Knowledge and Innovation fees.
An extra Dh100 applies when the request is submitted in person through a service centre.
Paid fees are non-refundable, even when the application is unsuccessful.
Emirates ID helps confirm the applicant
Dubai Police allows an applicant to use a valid or expired Emirates ID number.
The applicant must enter accurate personal details and select the reason for requesting the certificate.
People without an Emirates ID must visit an approved service centre to have their fingerprints taken.
The listed locations include Al Qusais, Ports, Al Rashidiya, and Jebel Ali police stations.
Former UAE residents applying from abroad must have previously entered the country.
Dubai Police lists a personal photo, passport copy, and previous residence visa copy among the required documents for overseas applicants.
Those without ten-print fingerprints on record may need a fingerprint card certified by a UAE embassy.
Allow five working days before a deadline
Dubai Police lists a processing time of five working days.
The certificate remains valid for three months from its issue date.
Applicants should therefore check the deadline and validity requirement set by their employer, embassy, school, or other requesting organisation.
They may track the request through the official Dubai Police Application Status service using their reference number.
