PHILIPPINES: SSS members can now get their physical MySSS Card in as fast as five minutes through instant issuance kiosks available in dozens of locations nationwide.
The kiosk network covers 46 locations across Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, giving more members a faster way to claim their new SSS ID after completing the required online application.
The MySSS Card replaces the old UMID card for new issuance and can also be linked to a financial account for receiving SSS benefits, loans and other payments.

important: Apply online before going to a kiosk
Members should first complete their MySSS Card application through their My.SSS account before visiting a kiosk.
According to SSS, applicants generally need:
- a permanent SSS number,
- an active My.SSS account with updated information,
- and registration with the Philippine Identification System or National ID.
Members can choose a participating financial institution during the online application.
For cards issued through Asia United Bank (AUB), members can use participating instant issuance kiosks to receive their physical card.
The AUB MySSS Card has a Php 250 card issuance fee, but there is no annual fee, monthly maintaining balance or dormancy fee.
What does the ‘5-minute’ issuance mean?
The five-minute process refers to the printing and issuance of the physical MySSS Card at an instant issuance kiosk. It does not mean the entire MySSS Card application can be completed in five minutes.
Members must first apply for the card online through their My.SSS account and complete the required steps.
Those who choose Asia United Bank (AUB) as their financial institution can select the instant issuance option. Once approved and ready for card issuance, they can proceed to an available kiosk to have their physical MySSS Card printed and claimed.
AUB confirms that dedicated MySSS Card instant issuance kiosks are being made available for this purpose. However, its official announcement does not currently provide a complete public list of kiosk locations.
Members are advised to confirm kiosk availability with SSS or AUB before travelling to claim their card.
MySSS Card is more than an SSS ID
The MySSS Card serves as an official SSS identification card, but it also has financial functions.
Depending on the participating bank or financial institution selected, members can use the linked account to receive SSS benefits, salary and calamity loans, and other proceeds.
SSS launched the new card as part of its move toward easier digital services for members.
For OFWs returning to the Philippines or families assisting SSS members back home, the expanded kiosk network can also mean less waiting compared with traditional card delivery.
Members can start by logging in to their My.SSS account and checking their eligibility for the MySSS Card.
