New Expo 2020 Dubai Dates Announced

Expo 2020 will now welcome the world from 1st October 2021 to 31st March 2022. The UAE requested to postpone the current Expo 2020 Dubai schedule due to the current challenging times.

The new dates were announced following a two-thirds majority of voting of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) Member States where they voted in favour of postponing the next World Expo by one year.

Below is a video from Expo 2020 Dubai team:

On 21 April the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) held a meeting of its Executive Committee to discuss a request by the UAE Government and the Expo 2020 Dubai Steering Committee to postpone Expo 2020 Dubai until next year. They supported the request to postpone Expo 2020 and the proposed dates, which are 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.
