PHILIPPINES: Overseas Filipino workers who want to learn new digital skills may now pre-register for the Kasanayan tungo sa Kabuhayan, or K2K, Program for Certified AI Courses.
The program is meant to help OFWs become more ready for the fast changes in technology and the job market.
Pre-registration is now open through the Department of Migrant Workers’ Kaalaman portal.
Enrollment is open only until July 15, 2026, and slots are limited.

Who Can Join the AI Training
The program is open to OFWs who are 18 years old and above.
Applicants must also be high school graduates and should have basic computer skills.
This means the training is not only for technology experts.
It may also help OFWs who want to improve their work skills, learn how AI tools are used, or prepare for other income and job opportunities.
The DMW earlier said the expanded K2K program aims to equip returning OFWs with future-ready digital skills that can support employability and livelihood opportunities.
Why AI Skills Matter for Workers
Artificial intelligence, or AI, is now being used in many fields.
These include office work, customer service, sales, marketing, finance, logistics, design, education, and online services.
For OFWs, learning AI may help them adjust to new work demands.
It may also help them prepare for remote work, side income, business tasks, or future employment after returning to the Philippines.
The program may be useful for workers who want to start with basic digital learning instead of jumping into advanced technical courses right away.
How OFWs Can Pre-Register
Interested OFWs should register through the official Kaalaman portal at: https://kaalaman.dmw.gov.ph
Applicants should review the form carefully and provide accurate details.
They should also prepare basic personal information and any documents that may be requested during the registration process.
Since slots are limited, OFWs who are interested should not wait until the last day.
The deadline is July 15, 2026.
