Overseas Filipino workers can now start planning their return and new life in the Philippines through an online profile.
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration has introduced the OWWA Reintegration Profile, an online service that collects information about returning OFWs and the type of support they may need.
OFWs do not have to wait until they arrive in the Philippines to register.
Three Steps Start the Return Plan
OWWA said OFWs can begin by visiting the official Migrant’s Brew–Alagang OWWA Center portal.
The registration process has three main steps:
- Create an online account.
- Complete the reintegration profile.
- Review programs and services that may match the OFW’s needs.
The profile may help OWWA understand a worker’s plans, experience, skills, and possible challenges after returning home.
OWWA also maintains physical Alagang OWWA Centers for OFWs and family members who need guided assistance.
What Information Should OFWs Prepare?
The registration form has three main parts. OFWs should prepare the following details before starting:
Personal information
Applicants must enter an email address, password, complete name, gender, birth date, passport number, contact number, Facebook account name, Philippine region, and complete address in the Philippines.
Deployment and arrival information
The form asks for the worker’s country of employment, planned arrival date, flight number, OFW category, overseas occupation, years of work experience, and OWWA membership status.
OFWs must also provide their mode and reason for repatriation, as well as their employment status before returning.
Plans after returning home
Applicants will be asked if they are returning permanently, may consider working abroad again, or already operate a business in the Philippines.
They should also provide their preferred work location, highest educational attainment, and any skills certification they hold.
OFWs looking for work can select sectors they are willing to enter:
- Caregiving
- Construction
- Hospitality
- Agriculture
- Manufacturing
- Digital and information technology
The form allows applicants to identify immediate needs, including transportation, accommodation, medical help, counselling, and financial support.
They may also request consideration for local job opportunities, business start-up assistance, skills training, or loan support. OFWs with an existing business can provide added details, while those with other goals may explain their training needs.
Before submitting, the applicant must authorize OWWA to collect and process the information for reintegration assessment and service delivery under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
What May Registered OFWs Receive?
The portal lists several possible services for registered OFWs. These include assignment of a personal case officer within 48 hours and access to 17 regional centers nationwide.
Other listed services include priority slots for TESDA training and certification, job matches from PhilJobNet, DMW, and private employers, and eligibility screening for Small Business Corporation financing.
Applicants may also be referred to welfare services such as the Welfare Assistance Program, MEDplus, and PhilHealth reactivation.
Access remains subject to the assessment, qualifications, rules, funding, and availability of each program. Creating a profile does not guarantee that an OFW will receive every listed service.
One Profile May Open Several Support Routes
Information provided through the profile may be used to match returning workers with a case officer or refer them to available services.
Possible support areas include livelihood and business development, skills training, upskilling, job opportunities, employment referrals, and business financing.
The platform brings together welfare, training, employment, and enterprise services from OWWA and its partner agencies.
The Department of Migrant Workers’ Reintegration One-Stop Shop also provides information about government support for OFWs preparing to return permanently or start again in the country.
Registration Is Not Automatic Approval
Creating a profile does not mean an OFW has been approved for financial aid, training, a loan, or a job.
Each program has its own assessment, qualifications, documents, rules, funding limits, and availability.
The profile serves as an early planning and referral tool. Applicants may still be asked to complete a separate application or submit added requirements before receiving assistance.

OFWs Can Register Before Flying Home
Workers preparing to return may visit reintegration.owwa.gov.ph and select “Register as OFW.”
They should provide correct and updated information so OWWA can identify services that may fit their situation.
