PHILIPPINES: Philippine Airlines (PAL) plans to operate daily nonstop flights between Manila and Dubai beginning October 25, 2026.
The update came from Josh Vasquez, PAL’s regional head for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
His public post also corrected inaccurate online reports about the airline’s Middle East flights.
Dubai Route Returns With Four Weekly Flights
Before the daily schedule begins, PAL will restore its Manila-Dubai route on October 2.
The airline will initially operate four flights per week every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
According to PAL’s official announcement, the schedule will be:
- PR658 leaves Manila at 12:50 p.m. and arrives in Dubai at 6:00 p.m.
- PR659 leaves Dubai at 7:45 p.m. and reaches Manila at 9:10 a.m. the next day.
The airline earlier said it would gradually increase the route to daily service when operating conditions allowed.
The October 25 target is the newest detail shared by the PAL executive.
Doha and Riyadh Flights Also Clarified
PAL’s Doha service resumed on July 1 with four weekly flights.
Vasquez said the route is expected to become daily at the start of August.
Meanwhile, Manila-Riyadh flights have continued operating since their restoration on April 10.
The route initially included a technical stop in Bangkok.
PAL suspended its Dubai, Doha, and Riyadh services earlier in 2026 because of restricted airspace and limited flight paths caused by the Middle East conflict.
Why the Dubai Route Matters to OFWs
The direct service gives Filipinos another travel option between the UAE and the Philippines.
Based on the 2024 Survey on Overseas Filipinos, 12.4 percent of OFWs were based in the UAE.
This made the country the second-largest destination for Filipino workers after Saudi Arabia.
PAL is offering limited introductory round-trip fares starting at USD650, inclusive of taxes and fees.

Flight times may still change if regional airspace conditions require another review.
