DUBAI: The Security Industry Regulatory Agency has started the field phase of the “Thank You UAE” campaign, beginning with a visit to Dubai Customs on July 14, 2026.
The campaign allows Emiratis, residents, visitors, and friends of the UAE to record a personal message of thanks to the country.
Its field phase will bring the campaign platform directly to workplaces and organisations across Dubai before expanding to other parts of the UAE.

Dubai Customs Records First Workplace Messages
Dr Abdulla Busenad, Director-General of Dubai Customs, recorded the first message during the launch at the department’s headquarters.
Dubai Customs employees then added their own messages using tablets placed at the venue.
The department’s clients may also take part through the campaign platform.
Dubai Customs was selected as the first field location because of its public role and position among Dubai’s main government departments.
The campaign will next visit other government, semi-government, and private organisations.

Campaign Passes 160,000 Recorded Messages
Khalifa Ibrahim Al Saleis, chief executive officer of SIRA, said the campaign has already collected around 160,000 messages.
The campaign organisers are working toward a target of one million messages.
The platform has also received more than 453,000 visits since its launch.
Participants from more than 136 nationalities have submitted messages, showing that the campaign is open to the UAE’s large and diverse community.
The workplace visits will support the online platform rather than replace it.
Messages Will Form a Public Record
The campaign aims to preserve messages of gratitude that may be shared with future generations.
Participants are encouraged to use their own words instead of following a fixed script.
According to campaign organisers, the project is designed as a community space where people can express appreciation for the UAE, its opportunities, and their experiences in the country.
Dr Busenad said loyalty and belonging should be reflected through work, achievement, and service, not only through public statements.
How the Public Can Participate
People inside or outside the UAE may submit a message through the official “Thank You UAE” campaign website here – shukranuae.emaratalaman.ae
Residents may also join when the campaign’s field team visits their workplace or organisation.
Those interested should watch for announcements about future locations as the program moves across Dubai and later expands throughout the UAE.
