Who Can Use the Five-Year Tourist Visa?
The visa is designed for tourism and repeat visits.
It may suit people who regularly visit family, attend events, take holidays, or manage personal matters in Dubai.
It is not a work permit. Visitors must obtain the correct residence and employment documents before working in the UAE.
A visa holder may stay for up to 90 continuous days per visit.
This may be extended for another similar period, but the total stay must not exceed 180 days within one year.

Documents Required for the Application
Applicants must prepare:
- A recent personal photograph
- A passport copy with at least six months’ validity
- Bank statements covering the previous six months
- Valid UAE health insurance
- A confirmed round-trip or onward ticket
The applicant must also show a bank balance of at least US$4,000, or the equivalent in another currency, during the six months before applying.
How to Submit an Application
Applications may be submitted through GDRFA Dubai’s digital channels.
Applicants must log in through UAE Pass or a registered account, search for the five-year multiple-entry tourist visa service, enter the required details, upload the documents, and pay the applicable charges.
Applications may also be handled through Customer Happiness Centres or authorised Amer service centres in Dubai.
GDRFA lists an expected processing time of around 48 hours, provided the application is complete and meets the requirements.
