DUBAI: Jobseekers in the UAE may see more opportunities this September as companies return to full operations after the slower summer months.
Recruiters say businesses are reopening vacancies, strengthening their teams and preparing for the final quarter of 2026.
Hiring is expected to improve across hospitality, technology, finance, healthcare, logistics, real estate and other sectors.

Hotels Prepare for the Busy Winter Season
Hospitality is among the sectors expected to become more active.
Hotels are preparing for higher occupancy, more tourists and a busy events season.
Recruiters say employers are looking for workers in front office, concierge, food and beverage service, and housekeeping.
Applicants with previous UAE or GCC experience may have an advantage because companies often want workers who can start quickly with less training.
Customer service skills and the ability to speak more than one language can also help.
Healthcare, Tech and AI Skills Stay in Demand
Healthcare employers are also expected to continue hiring nurses, specialists, carers and support workers.
Technology, data, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity are other areas where companies are looking for talent.
However, AI skills are no longer only for technology workers.
Employers increasingly want workers in finance, marketing, operations and other fields to understand how digital and AI tools can help them work better.
Logistics, Sales and Real Estate Also Need Workers
Hiring activity is also expected in logistics, supply chain, retail, food service, construction, engineering, real estate and project management.
The final months of the year are especially busy for businesses involved in distribution, events, tourism and consumer services.
Dubai’s wider business environment also continues to expand.
The Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority reported that the number of companies across its economic zones grew by 13% in the first half of 2026, while their combined workforce increased by 24% compared with the same period last year.
A Good CV Is No Longer Enough
Recruiters warn that employers are becoming more selective.
Jobseekers should clearly show what they achieved in previous jobs instead of simply listing duties.
Examples may include sales increased, customers served, costs reduced, projects completed or systems improved.
Communication, adaptability, problem-solving and digital skills can also make applicants more competitive.
Recruiters also recommend using LinkedIn, company career pages, referrals and direct networking instead of relying only on job boards.
