Dubai, UAE – March 26, 2026: The UAE’s air defence systems successfully intercepted multiple aerial threats on Wednesday, as regional tensions continue to escalate. According to the Ministry of Defence, a total of 15 ballistic missiles and 11 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran were engaged and neutralized on March 26.
Since the beginning of what officials described as “blatant Iranian attacks,” the UAE’s defence systems have intercepted a cumulative total of 372 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,826 UAVs.
Despite the successful interceptions, the attacks have resulted in casualties and injuries across multiple nationalities.

- 1 Moroccan civilian (contracted by the Armed Forces)

Officials added that the UAE will continue to take all necessary measures to protect its people and national interests against any form of aggression.
