1826 UAV Drones, 372 Ballistic Missiles, and 15 Cruise Missiles Intercepted by UAE Since Start of Iranian Attack

Dubai, UAE – March 26, 2026: The UAE’s air defence systems successfully intercepted multiple aerial threats on Wednesday, as regional tensions continue to escalate. According to the Ministry of Defence, a total of 15 ballistic missiles and 11 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran were engaged and neutralized on March 26.

Since the beginning of what officials described as “blatant Iranian attacks,” the UAE’s defence systems have intercepted a cumulative total of 372 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,826 UAVs.

Despite the successful interceptions, the attacks have resulted in casualties and injuries across multiple nationalities.

  • 2 UAE Armed Forces personnel (martyred in the line of duty)
  • 1 Moroccan civilian (contracted by the Armed Forces)
  • 8 civilians from the following nationalities:
    • Pakistani
    • Nepali
    • Bangladeshi
