The affected airspaces include Iran, Israel, Iraq, Lebanon, and Jordan, leading to significant flight cancellations and disruptions.
The advisory highlights the following flight suspensions:
- Emirates Airlines: Flights to Jordan and Lebanon are suspended until June 22, 2025, while flights to Iran and Iraq are suspended until June 30, 2025.
- FlyDubai: Flights to Iran, Iraq, Israel, and Syria are suspended until June 30, 2025.
- AirArabia: Flights from Sharjah to Jordan and Russia are suspended until June 20, 2025, while flights to Iran and Iraq are suspended until June 30, 2025.
Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) traveling to or transiting through these countries are strongly advised to check the status of their flights with their respective airlines before heading to the airport. Additionally, stranded OFWs are encouraged to coordinate with their airlines and their respective Foreign Recruitment Agencies (FRAs) or Philippine Recruitment Agencies (PRAs) for alternative flights back to Manila, Philippines.
