The victim had filed a complaint seeking AED 3 million in damages from the hospital and two doctors, claiming that he was taken to the hospital after experiencing pain in his lower abdomen, the Khaleej Times reported.

The doctor had prescribed analgesics, but the next day he experienced swelling in his lower belly. At the hospital, another doctor diagnosed him with a bacterial infection and gave antibiotics for the next ten days, but the discomfort persisted.

A medical committee found that the victim suffered as a result of a misdiagnosis and medical incompetence, according to the lawsuit.

The doctors’ errors were consistent to the lawsuit filed, according to the Court.
