RTA Announces Operating Hours during Ramadan

As Ramadan 2017 approaches, city services are getting ready for the month-long event. For their part, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have announced new timings for their services.

The new timings cover working hours for Dubai buses, metro and tram services, and parking hours. All of these have been planned to help ensure the safety and smoothness of transportation services during this year’s Ramadan.

RTA Working Hours for Ramadan 2017

Here are the working hours for transport and parking services during Ramadan:

Dubai Bus – Main Stations

  • Gold Souk – 4:25 am to 12:00 am
  • Al Ghubaiba – 4:30 am to 12:00 am

Dubai Bus – Substations

  • Al Satwa – 4:57 am to 11:35 pm (Line CO1 from Al Satwa operates 24 hours)
  • Al Qusais – 4:30 am to 12:00 am
  • Al Quoz Industrial – 5:00 am to 11:30 pm
  • Jebel Ali – 5:00 am to 12:00 am

Dubai Metro – Red Line Stations

  • Saturday to Wednesday – 5:30 am to 12:00 am
  • Thursday – 5:30 am to 1:00 am (next day)
  • Friday – 10:00 am to 1:00 am (next day)

Dubai Metro – Green Line Stations

  • Saturday to Wednesday – 5:50 am to 12:00 am
  • Thursday – 5:50 am to 1:00 am (next day)
  • Friday – 10:00 am to 1:00 am (next day)

Dubai Tram

  • Saturday to Thursday – 6:30 am to 1:00 am (next day)
  • Friday – 9:00 am to 1:00 am (next day)

Parking

  • Zones A, B, C, D, and G – Saturday to Thursday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (first shift) and from 7:00 pm to 12:00 am (second shift)
  • Dubai Silicon Oasis (Zone H) – Saturday to Thursday, from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm
  • TECOM (Zone F) – Saturday to Thursday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Fish Market (Zone E) – Daily, from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm
