An Air India Express plane which departed from a Dubai skidded off a runway at Calicut International Airport (Karipur Airport) in Kerala, India.
The plane departed from Dubai International Airport earlier on Friday, August 7, 2020.
The plane carried around 200 passengers and the flight is a special repatriation Vande Bharat Mission flight.

The Air India flight IX1344 from Dubai carrying almost 200 passengers skidded during landing at Karipur Airport in Kozhikode (Kerala) today. There were 6crew members onboard, including 2 pilots, said Air India Express.
Rescue operations, fire and ambulances have rushed to the spot.
