Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has ordered the reckless driver and his companions in the City Walk car stunt to render community service by cleaning the Dubai streets for 4 hours per day for 30 days.
Last February 17, a 17-year-old Emirati driver performed stunts amid a busy traffic at the Dubai City Walk. It was raining at the time when the young motorist caused damage to property and endangered lives of pedestrians in the location. The stunt was caught on video and became viral on social media.
Ruler of Dubai Orders Reckless Drivers in City Walk Stunt to Render Community Service for 30 Days
According to a WAM report, the individuals showed no respect for traffic laws and general road etiquette, and endangered the safety of people and property in the location. Police took swift action to arrest the offenders and referred them to the authorities for legal action.

A news report from GulfNews mentions that “the driver did not have a driving licence and that he took the car from the family’s driver as his parents were not at home.” In the same report, they mention that the “vehicle has been seized and he will have to pay Dh100,000 to get it back.”
