PCG-Dubai Launches Pasiklab Pinoy 2026 to Spotlight Filipino Excellence

The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai has opened 2026 with the launch of Pasiklab Pinoy 2026, a renewed public diplomacy and community engagement campaign aimed at highlighting Filipino excellence across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

The initiative builds on the Consulate’s 2025 Labindalawa campaign, which ran throughout the year and brought together cultural showcases, culinary collaborations, entrepreneurship features, skills focused activities, and community events. Through these programs, Filipino talents from different sectors were given platforms to engage with one another and with UAE institutions, strengthening visibility and shared pride within the community.

Pasiklab Pinoy 2026 carries forward these efforts under a more unified and confident narrative. The word “pasiklab,” commonly associated with shining through one’s craft, reflects the energy, discipline, and initiative that Filipinos bring to their workplaces and communities in the UAE. The campaign highlights how Filipino skills and creativity continue to contribute to the country’s creative economy, innovation ecosystem, and tourism sector.

The Consulate also recognized the creative contribution of Ryan Murao, also known as Ianagi, who designed the official Pasiklab Pinoy 2026 logo. Murao is a long-time creative partner of the Consulate and has collaborated on past cultural and artistic projects that showcased Filipino identity and talent in the UAE, including visual art, music, and multimedia initiatives.

Serving as an umbrella program, Pasiklab Pinoy 2026 will cover the Consulate General’s cultural, economic, skills, and community activities for the year. These programs will be rolled out in partnership with both public and private institutions, with the goal of celebrating Filipino talent, opening opportunities for collaboration, and strengthening people to people ties between the Philippines and the UAE.

For Filipinos in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Pasiklab Pinoy 2026 signals another year of inclusive platforms that recognize everyday excellence across professions and backgrounds. Further details on specific activities and partnerships are expected to be announced as the year progresses.
