Last month, the entire UAE cheered upon hearing the news that the sons of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, had gotten married. And just recently, a lavish wedding reception took place!
On Thursday, June 6, a grand ceremony was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), celebrating the weddings of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai; and HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation.
Al Maktoum Wedding Reception Takes Place at DWTC
On May 15, HH Sheikh Mohammed’s sons got married in a religious ceremony. HH Sheikh Hamdan wed Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum; HH Sheikh Maktoum got married to Sheikha Maryam bint Butti Al Maktoum; and HH Sheikh Ahmed wed Sheikha Madiyah bint Dalmook Al Maktoum.
Meanwhile, the wedding reception was attended by HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Also present were the Emirates’ Rulers: HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman; HH Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah; HH Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah; HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah; and HH Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain.
The grand celebration was also joined by Their Highnesses the Crown Princes, Sheikhs, Ministers, a large number of dignitaries, state and senior officials, tribal chieftains, heads of international and national companies, businessmen, and entrepreneurs.
