Faridabad, India – A tragic incident unfolded in Jharsentali village, Faridabad, where a four-year-old girl lost her life after allegedly being severely beaten by her father for failing to count to 50. The father, identified as Krishna Jaiswal, has been arrested following his confession to the crime.
Accorting to reports, the incident occurred on January 21, 2026, when Jaiswal, originally from Uttar Pradesh, was teaching his daughter at home. Frustrated by her inability to count to 50, he lost his temper and assaulted her repeatedly. The child lost consciousness due to the severity of the beating.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Jaiswal rushed his daughter to a nearby government hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival. Initially, he attempted to cover up the crime by claiming she had fallen down the stairs while playing.
The child’s mother, who was at work during the incident, grew suspicious upon seeing multiple injuries on her daughter’s body at the hospital. She immediately reported the matter to the police. During interrogation, Jaiswal admitted to the assault, leading to his arrest.
The family, residing in a rented house, includes three children: a seven-year-old son, a two-year-old daughter, and the deceased four-year-old girl. Both parents worked at a private company.
The police have launched an investigation into the case, and Jaiswal remains in custody. This tragic event serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of uncontrolled anger and the importance of protecting children from harm.
