Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) is one of the seven emirates of the UAE. It is located in the northern part of the country, along the east of the Persian Gulf. With an area of 1700 square kilometres, it is the fourth-largest emirate in the country.

About 50 percent of the population of Ras Al Khaimah are nationals or Emiratis. Arabic is the official language, although English is also widely used. Recently, the emirate has begun expanding its business and tourism sectors, making it one of the country’s top destinations.
