WATCH: Dubai Frame New Year Fireworks Livestream Video Online

As the countdown to New Year’s Eve draws near, people all over the city are excited to celebrate with lots of food, lively music, and of course… a breathtaking fireworks display! And among the many places to catch such a spectacular show is the majestic Dubai Frame.

The Dubai Frame is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Located in Zabeel Park, it opened to the public in 2018, and has been dubbed as “the biggest picture frame on the planet.” Indeed, it is a structure that “frames” the city — featuring the beauty and charm of Old Dubai on one side, and showcasing the towering skyscrapers of New Dubai on the other.

The Dubai Frame stands tall at 150 metres high and measures 95 metres wide. It is covered by over 15,000 square metres of glittering, gold-coloured stainless steel, with a ring design inspired by the eye-catching logo of Expo 2020 Dubai.

On the ground floor of the Dubai Frame, you will find a museum that offers a multi-sensory experience of Dubai’s historic past. There are 3D images, audio recordings, plus mist and scent effects that tell the colourful story of Old Dubai.

There’s an elevator that will take you up to the Sky Deck in 75 seconds. Once you reach the top, prepare to be mesmerized by magnificent views of Old Dubai and New Dubai! And be sure to try out the interactive screens, which invites visitors to identify the different landmarks of the emirate. There’s even a spot where you can enjoy a cup of coffee while gazing at the views.

In 2019, the Dubai Frame bagged a Guinness World Record for becoming “the world’s largest frame.” In the same year, it was announced that the frame would “light up” on New Year’s Eve 2020. True enough, a 3-minute fireworks show was featured, followed by a laser display. To welcome 2021, the Dubai Frame featured a fireworks show once again.

This coming New Year’s Eve, we can expect another grand celebration at the Dubai Frame. If you want to have the best views, simply head to Zabeel Park before midnight, so you can enjoy amazing views of the fireworks.

Check out this video of the fireworks that welcomed New Year’s Eve 2021, as shared by @DubaiFrame on Twitter:

On the other hand, if you can’t catch the actual show, don’t worry because you can always watch it online. Be sure to visit the official website and Facebook page of Dubai Frame for announcements regarding livestream videos of the New Year’s Eve fireworks!

Aside from the Dubai Frame, there are many other places where you can view the New Year’s Eve fireworks, such as Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. As everyone is excited about the coming of the New Year, let us all look forward to a bright future ahead!
