Dubai Miracle Garden Ends Free Entry, Introduces Exclusive Rate For Residents

DUBAI: Free entry at Dubai Miracle Garden has been withdrawn starting March 21 after a surge in visitor numbers, with authorities shifting to a discounted ticket system to manage crowds and improve safety.

In an update shared on its official website, the attraction confirmed that the previous free entry offer is no longer available due to safety measures. Residents can now enter the garden for a reduced price of Dh52.50 by presenting a valid Emirates ID.

What changed and why

The decision comes after heavy foot traffic in recent days, especially as the popular floral destination attracts large crowds during peak season and ahead of the Eid holidays.

According to park officials, the move aims to:

  • Improve crowd control
  • Ensure visitor safety
  • Maintain a better experience inside the park

Earlier, residents paid Dh73.50 per ticket, including VAT. The new discounted rate offers a lower-cost option while limiting overcrowding.

Who is affected

The update mainly affects:

  • UAE residents planning to visit during March
  • Families and tourists expecting free entry access
  • Visitors heading to the garden during the Eid break

Despite the change, children aged 12 and below can still enter for free until the end of the season, helping reduce costs for families.

Discount valid until end of March

The Dh52.50 resident rate will be available until March 31, covering the expected spike in visitors during the Eid holiday period.

Visitors are advised to:

  • Bring a valid Emirates ID to avail of the discount
  • Expect larger crowds, especially on weekends
  • Plan visits during off-peak hours when possible

Important Safety Consideration

This update shifts the Miracle Garden experience from a free-access event to a controlled entry system, prioritizing safety over volume.

For residents, the key takeaway is simple:

  • Free entry is no longer available
  • Discounted access remains open for a limited time only

Those planning a visit in the coming days should prepare for paid entry and consider visiting earlier in the day to avoid peak congestion.

With the season nearing its final weeks, demand is expected to stay high, especially during holidays. Visitors should monitor official updates for any further changes.
