According to Major-General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansoori, assistant commander-in-chief for criminal investigation, the gang took advantage of the shop’s insufficient security procedures.
The accused were members of “organized gangs that specialised in robberies,” according to Brigadier-General Jamal Salem Al Jallaf, director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation.
