Pinoy MMA Fighter Taps Out to Save Opponent–Video

Mike Pantangco, a Filipino Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Fighter, was winning a match when he backs off and taps out to save Jeremy Rasner (his opponent) from further beating. The fight was done in the Prison City Fight League in Michigan, USA and the Pinoy Fighter didn’t want to finish his opponent any further that’s why he opted to tap out.

“I just feel that there’s no point in fighting him because he didn’t train against me and I didn’t train for him,” the Mike said. “We don’t get paid and I know that the only (way) I’m going to finish the fight is him to go in the hospital or get hurt. I just feel terrible so I’m just going to give him the win.”

The Filipino was winning the match and was blowing Jeremy with punches and kicks when he decided to sacrifice his victory.

“I am sorry for all you guys think I did him wrong or disrespected him, but guys (we’re amateur) fighters.
