No More Need to Visit Service Centers
Dubai Municipality has introduced a Virtual Appointment System that allows customers to ask questions and track requests remotely.
This means residents and businesses no longer need to visit service centers for many transactions.
Over 50% of Services Now Online
The first phase already covers more than 50% of Dubai Municipality services, with 65 services available through the platform.
These services span different areas managed by the municipality, making it easier to access support from home or work.
Part of a Bigger Digital Government Plan
The system supports the Dubai Government’s “360-Degree Services Policy.”
This policy aims to:
- Deliver 100% of services without in-person visits
- Provide faster, connected, and user-friendly services
- Reduce the need for physical paperwork and queues
Officials estimate this shift could save over 300,000 working hours each year.
Designed for Convenience and Speed
According to Dubai Municipality, the platform helps users:
- Book virtual appointments
- Ask service-related questions
- Follow up on existing requests
The goal is to give customers more control over their time and reduce waiting periods.
More Services Coming in Next Phases
Authorities confirmed that this is only the first phase.
Future updates will:
- Expand service coverage beyond the current 65 services
- Improve system features based on customer feedback
- Move closer to fully digital government services
Officials said they are actively reviewing user feedback to improve the system.
Focus on Better Customer Experience
Dubai Municipality said the system is part of its effort to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
By reducing physical visits and simplifying processes, the initiative aims to create a more efficient and modern experience for everyone.
