Cebu Pacific Sets July Return for Dubai Flights

Correct Your PH Civil Registry Record via Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
The Philippine Statistics Authority launched APCAS, a new digital system that makes civil registry corrections faster. The system covers petitions under RA 9048 and RA 10172, including errors in names, nicknames, day and month of birth, and sex. PSA says processing time may drop by at least 80 percent.
Paid Eid Holiday Confirmed for UAE Private Workers
Private sector employees across the UAE will receive a four-day paid holiday from Tuesday, May 26, to Friday, May 29, 2026, for Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha. Normal work is expected to resume on Monday, June 1. Employers must follow the official holiday period.

The UAE Cabinet launched the country’s largest government training program to equip 80,000 federal employees with Agentic AI skills. The plan supports the UAE’s goal to move 50 percent of government services and operations to AI-powered systems within two years under the UAE Government 4.0 transformation.

Officials said the scholarship aims to help OFWs rebuild careers and find stable livelihood after working abroad.
