ABU DHABI: UAE organizations have recorded the world’s highest technology resilience score, according to a new KPMG report released this week.
The report, titled “UAE Tech Report 2026: Scale, Confidence and Acceleration,” surveyed 2,500 technology leaders on how companies are investing in and managing digital tools as business risks become more complex.
According to the report, nine in 10 UAE organizations placed themselves in the top two resilience tiers for technology disruption. This was the highest level recorded across all surveyed regions.

UAE Firms Show Strong Digital Confidence
KPMG said UAE organizations are performing better than global peers in several key areas.
These include:
• Organisational resilience
• Technology investment scale
• Maturity of core tech capabilities
• Confidence in returns from digital spending
The report also found that none of the 70 UAE respondents reported zero or negative value from their technology investments.
This means UAE organizations surveyed believe their technology spending is producing clear benefits.

Innovation With More Control
The report described the UAE’s technology model as one shaped by “complexity, connectivity, and control.”
In simple terms, companies are not only chasing innovation. They are also managing the basic systems needed to grow safely.
These include system integration, data protection, cybersecurity, compliance, and global supply chain exposure.
KPMG said UAE organisations are balancing innovation with the need for stronger security and regulatory alignment. This is important because many UAE businesses work with international markets, partners, and digital systems.
AI Is Becoming Part of Daily Work
The report also showed that artificial intelligence is moving beyond small tests and pilot projects in the UAE.
Nearly every UAE respondent said their organisation now uses AI in day-to-day operations.
Maher Kilani, Partner and Digital Foundation Centre Leader at KPMG Middle East, said UAE organisations are focused on adding AI into core business platforms instead of treating it as a separate project.
This signals a shift from simply trying AI tools to using them in regular work systems.
What This Means for UAE Workers and Businesses
For UAE residents, workers, and business owners, the report points to one clear trend: digital skills, cybersecurity awareness, and AI knowledge are becoming more important in the workplace.
Companies may continue investing in tools that help them work faster, protect data, and manage risk.
For expats, including Filipino professionals, this is a reminder to keep building digital skills. The UAE’s technology growth is not slowing down. It is becoming more structured, more serious, and more connected to daily business operations.
