DUBAI: Dubai shoppers will soon get a chance to win a home by spending AED 500 during this year’s Dubai Summer Surprises.
The new campaign will give away 12 homes over 12 weeks. This means one home will be awarded every week during the promotion.
The announcement was made by officials from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism during the department’s first stakeholder meeting of the year.

How Shoppers Can Join the Draw
Under the campaign, shoppers who spend AED 500 at participating malls and retail outlets across Dubai will qualify for the weekly draw.
The entry will be done through a digital receipt scanning system. This means shoppers will likely need to scan or upload their receipts through the approved system for the promotion.
Full mechanics, participating outlets, and final terms should still be checked through official DSS or Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment channels once the campaign begins.
The promotion is being organized with Dubai Chambers and supported by property developer Binghatti.
DSS Returns With Bigger Summer Deals
Dubai Summer Surprises 2026 is set to begin on July 2.
This year’s DSS will include shopping discounts, hotel offers, live shows, food promotions, and family activities across Dubai.
Officials said this year’s retail promotions will be bigger than previous calendars. The campaign is also part of Dubai’s wider plan to bring more shoppers to malls and support tourism, hospitality, and entertainment businesses during the summer season.
More Than Shopping This Summer
Aside from DSS, Dubai is also preparing for other summer events, including GameExpo at Dubai World Trade Centre, restaurant offers, esports events, and entertainment programs across major venues.
Dubai Restaurant Week also showed strong participation this year, with more than 55,000 covers recorded.
