A Simple Way to Show Appreciation
The “Pledge and Commitment” initiative was launched on May 19 at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
Sheikh Nahyan said the initiative reflects appreciation for UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his role in strengthening national security, social unity, and stability.
More than 4,800 people attended the launch. They included intellectuals, academics, investors, business leaders, students, residents, and community representatives.
Sheikh Nahyan was the first to sign the pledge document. He was followed by 30 prominent figures before the initiative was opened to the wider community.
