With new updates implemented by the Ministry of Labor, the process of getting a copy of one’s Labour Contract Online has also slightly changed as per the MOL UAE website.
Part of the basic guidelines every worker in the UAE must perform is to read and understand the terms and conditions stated in their contracts. The UAE Labour Contract is necessary for every working individual in the UAE, most especially for expats as this is one of the requirements needed to receive their residence visas.

Need to Get A Copy of Your Labour Card Online? Here’s How…
One of the good things about working in the UAE is that all labour contracts issued by the Ministry of Labour are available online and can be accessed anytime the employee needs it.
To access your Labour contract online, you will need to have the following (information):
- your labour card info;
- your passport number;
- your nationality; and
- your date of birth
If you have all the above requirements on hand, then you can now proceed to checking your labour contract online.
Step 1 – Go to the MOL website. The default language of the page is Arabic. To change this to English, simply scroll up to the top-right part of the screen and select English.
Step 2 – Click the E-services tab on the main page, and then click the E-services link under it.
Step 3 – After you’ve clicked the E-services link, you will have several options to choose from. Select the Job Offers and Contracts services.
Step 4 – After you click the Job Offers and Contracts services, a new window will pop up. Scroll down to “View my contract”.
Step 5 – Choose “Search by Person Details” and enter your information.
Step 6 – After you click on the Contract Information, you will then be asked whether or not you have a Labour Card. Select Yes if you have this document.
Step 7 – Next, a new window will appear requesting for information such as your 8-digit (Work Permit) Labour Card Number, the Person Code (this is the 14-digit personal number in the Labour Card), Year of birth, and Nationality.
In the next screen, once you have entered all the required information, you will be provided with a copy of your Labour Contract, which you can now print for your record-keeping.
Important: Your current salary has to match with the one reflected on the page as salaries are routed through the Wages Protection System (WPS).
Note: To date, the MOL no longer issues a labour card as this is already integrated with the Emirates ID.

In case you need to access information on your labour card/contract details (meaning, you don’t have a copy of your labour card which is needed in the above-listed steps), you can request for it on the website using the following information:
- your passport number;
- date of birth;
- nationality; and
- mobile number
However, in this method, if you wish to print a copy of your labour card or labour contract, you will have to go to a Tasheel Center. Here’s how:
Step 1 – Visit the MOHRE website. Hover your mouse over the Services tab then select e-Services from the dropdown menu.
Step 2 – On the e-Services page, click the e-Netwasal services link.
Step 3 – After you click the e-Netwasal link, a new page will pop up. click the Contract Information link.
Step 4 – On the next screen, select ‘No’ if you do not have your Labour Card information, but wish to have this provided at the Tasheel Center.
Step 5 – Enter the information required to continue with your request.
Step 6 – After you have entered all the required information, you will be prompted to print a receipt that you will need to present at the Tasheel Center to get a copy of your Labour contract.
That’s how easy it is to check/print your labour contract via the MOL website. However, if you do not have the requirements such as a Labour Card or an Emirates ID, you will need to request for a printed copy of your labour contract via the Tasheel Center, which is also quite convenient to do because pre-processing for this request is already done online.
