According to a study conducted by the Middle East Digital Agency Global Media Insight on the analysis of the UAE population for 2018, a total of 530,000 Filipinos are residing in the UAE. The analysis was released back in January 2018.
The Department of Foreign Affairs, through the Consulate General in Dubai, has extended their condolences to the family of the departed as they work on the case to see it to completion.
This is sad news for the Filipino community in the UAE, as well as to those back in the Philippines, because our OFWs are risking their lives, health, and future while working in a foreign country to better provide for their families and to secure their future.
