52 Makkah Pilgrims Saved in Abu Dhabi Bus Crash

DUBAI – 52 people returning from pilgrimage in Makkah were saved after their bus crashed in Abu Dhabi on July 16, 2019 – Tuesday. Recently, there was a bus accident that occured in Dubai.

According to a post Abu Dhabi Police, the bus was travelling back to Oman from Makkah when it crashed into a metal barrier on the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road in Abu Dhabi. Here’s the post from Abu Dhabi Police FB Page:


No one was reported injured in the bus crash, as per statement by Colonel Mohammad Salem Al Shehi, the Director of the Department of Traffic and Patrol of Abu Dhabi Police.

While the police did not reveal further details about the bus crash, they have released a photo of the bus that showed damage to its headlights and front bumper.

Colonel Al Shehi has mentioned that the passengers have been checked by emergency responders and were given food, drinks, shelter as well as other support.
