Dubai Names Its First Female Mounted Police Officer

The Dubai Police introduced its newest and first female mounted police officer, Captain Halima Al Saadi.

As a mounted police officer, Capt. Halima patrols different locations in the emirate, apprehends wanted vehicles and persons of interest and issues violation fines.

Meet Dubai’s First Female Mounted Police Officer

The female officer expressed her happiness to become a member of the police force. She added that one of her interests has been horse riding.

She said that besides her passion for horse riding, she also enjoys doing it, now, as part of her job – to promote safety and security in the emirate.

The Dubai Police, according to Halima, has been very supportive of her and in empowering women in the force. Capt Halima has been in the service for 23 years now.
