The Council of Ministers adopts a package of decisions in the context of precautionary measures to prevent corona virus
For the convenience of citizens, residents, and visitors and in support of the continuity of government work.
- Extending the residence permits that ended on March 1, 2020 for a period of 3 months to facilitate residency in the country and exempt them from any financial violations.
- Suspend the calculation of administrative fines for violations of the services of the Federal Identity Authority for a period of 3 months.
- Granting a temporary license to use digital transactions techniques in the work of a notary to complete judicial transactions easily under the current conditions.
- Extending the validity of government services ending on March 1, 2020, or within the time limit specified in this decision for a period of three months, which can be extended.

Abu Dhabi, March 30 / WAM / The Council of Ministers adopted a package of new decisions, in the framework of government measures to prevent any negative repercussions of the new Corona virus (Covid 19) on various sectors in the country, in order to facilitate the citizens, residents and visitors, in order to preserve health and safety, including It supports the workflow and the continuity of government work in various agencies and sectors.
In detail, the Council of Ministers agreed to extend residence permits ending on March 1, 2020, or within the time limit set for the extension of this decision, for a period of three months subject to renewal, and without any additional fees being charged when renewing, in order to facilitate residents in the state, and exempt them from any Financial violations resulting from them under the current conditions.
The Council also agreed in this regard to stop the calculation of administrative fines for violations resulting from the services provided by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship approved by the Council of Ministers, for a period of three months, starting from the date of April 1, 2020, and be renewable.
The Cabinet also approved a decision to grant a temporary license for a project to use digital transaction technologies in the work of the notary, in order to facilitate citizens and residents to complete their judicial transactions under the current conditions, and to preserve the safety of auditors for the judicial authorities.
The Cabinet agreed to extend the validity of government services ending on March 1, 2020, or within the time limit specified in this decision for a period of three months, which can be extended, starting on the date of 1/4/2020, as this decision applies to renewal for all federal government services, including documents And permits, licenses, commercial records and the like.
