Gerry’s Grill opens its first branch in Dubai and this Filipino restaurant is located in Al Karama area. Some of its well-known dishes include inihaw na pusit (grilled squid), sisig, grilled chicken, kare-kare, etc.
Gerry’s Grill is a Filipino restaurant that first opened in Quezon City, Philippines, and they have continued to expand and open branches in the USA, Singapore, and now in the UAE. We were able to sample some of the dishes that the restaurant offers.

Be advised though that this restaurant offers halal food only (no pork nor alcohol). We have talked to the team and they mentioned that they are still testing the market in Dubai. If it becomes a hit to many Filipinos and other expats, definitely they won’t hesitate to open in a licensed establishment.

Filipinos in Dubai now have another location to visit so they can enjoy a lunch or dinner with the whole family. Pinoys abroad are very discerning and have supported many restaurants who have caught their taste and value for money.
Items are reasonably priced which is very important for us budget-conscious Pinoys.

Some of the items that are worth noting based on the food that we ordered include the grilled chicken and grilled squid, pancit bihon, beef sisig, and kangkong. For sure we will be back to sample other items like Crispy mutton (alternative to the crispy pork pata).
For the desserts, the one that stood out the most was the leche flan.
