PSA New DMW Cash Aid Form Coming Friday, May 8

DUBAI: A new online application link for the DMW one-time financial assistance will be posted soon for Overseas Filipino Workers in Dubai and the Northern Emirates who were affected by the Middle East crisis.

The Migrant Workers Office in Dubai announced that the next application link will be released on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.

This comes after Application Form No. 3 reached its slot limit. The form had 1,000 slots and was opened for OFWs whose work or income was affected by the crisis in the Middle East.

New Link to Watch on Friday Morning

OFWs who were not able to submit through Application Form No. 3 are advised to wait for the next official online application form.

MWO Dubai said the new link will be posted on Friday morning. Since previous slots were filled quickly, affected OFWs should prepare their documents before the link becomes available.

The application link should be checked through official MWO Dubai announcements to avoid fake or unofficial forms.

Who the Financial Aid Is For

The DMW one-time financial assistance is for OFWs in Dubai and the Northern Emirates who experienced work disruption, income loss, or employment-related issues due to the Middle East crisis.

This may include OFWs who had reduced salary, shortened working hours, job loss, visa cancellation, or other employment problems connected to the crisis.

Applicants must be ready to show proof of their overseas employment and proof of how their work or income was affected.

Documents to Prepare Before the Link Opens

Before Friday morning, OFWs should prepare clear copies of the required documents.

These include:

  • Request for Assistance or RFA Form,
  • passport bio page,
  • Emirates ID front and back, and
  • proof of overseas employment such as contract, visa, Emirates ID, labor card, or a similar document.

Applicants also need at least one proof of work disruption or loss of income.

This may include an employer certification, payslip showing reduced salary, termination notice, visa cancellation, notarized affidavit, or a personal written statement.

For those using a personal statement, it should come with proper certification from the Labor Attaché of MWO Dubai or the president of the Filipino community or organization where the OFW belongs.

Apply Once and Prepare Early

MWO Dubai reminded OFWs to submit only one application. Multiple applications may lead to automatic denial.

For now, affected OFWs should focus on preparing their files, checking the official MWO Dubai page, and being ready when the new application link goes live on May 8 at 8:00 a.m.
