Paid Eid Holiday Confirmed for UAE Private Workers
Private sector employees across the UAE will receive a four-day paid holiday from Tuesday, May 26, to Friday, May 29, 2026, for Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha. Normal work is expected to resume on Monday, June 1. Employers must follow the official holiday period.

Renting in UAE? Your Credit Score May Now Matter
UAE landlords can now request a prospective tenant’s credit score through the Etihad Credit Bureau app using UAE PASS. The new Tenant Screening service is consent-based, meaning the score is shared only after the tenant approves. Officials say it may help reduce rental disputes and payment risks.
