In 1984, Joe’s Cafe was founded by Joseph Ettedgui in Sloane Street, London. Many years later, in 2008, BinHendi Enterprises brought Joe’s Cafe to Dubai. These days, the brand currently has a franchise of 8 restaurants — 7 in the GCC region, and 1 in the Far East.

This restaurant is inspired by Dubai’s oldest and most beloved neighbourhood park: Al Khazzan Park. Interestingly, Al Khazzan Park was built in the 1980s. Back then it, was one of the few community parks around Dubai. Today, the park has been rebuilt into a “zero energy” park. Everything, including the night lights and irrigation system, is powered by solar energy.
