[VIDEO] New Burj Jumeira Project Soon to Rise in Dubai

With a number of new tourist attractions accomplished last year, such as a beach in Dubai Creek Harbour and other modern accomplishments, the emirate is looking to introduce even bigger and grander projects this year, such as the Burj Jumeirah Tower, which will certainly cement Dubai’s position on the global map when it comes to innovation and infrastructural designs.

A new tower, which stands 550 metres, is poised to be constructed in Dubai, and is expected to become another world-class attraction not only for tourists but also for the city’s residents.

Leading the inauguration ceremonies for the new project was His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, of the tower that is set to be built in Dubai’s Al Sufouh area.

Also Present at the ceremony were H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai International Marine Club, and Abdulla Al Habbai, Chairman of Dubai Holding, in support of His Highness the Vice President, as he reviewed plans for the unique project as well as for the surrounding area, which will be known as Downtown Jumeirah.

According to His Highness, the project and Downtown Jumeirah will be an extension of Dubai’s vision to become a city of the future set apart by its intelligent design and cohesive infrastructure and network.

Downtown Jumeirah, which is being developed by Dubai Holdings, will significantly enhance the neighbouring areas of the project site by creating a comprehensive and vibrant community that will cater to the various lifestyles of its residents. The project’s centre piece, Burj Jumeirah, will become the new focal point and landmark for Dubai.

Project construction is slated to begin immediately as the first phase of the development will be delivered in 2023.
