MWO-Dubai to Open More Aid Slots for OFWs on May 5 & 8

DMW is set to reopen financial aid applications for OFWs in Dubai at 8 am on May 5 & 8. Eligible workers may receive USD 200 support if affected by the Middle East crisis. Applicants must submit documents and apply only once to avoid disqualification.

DMW Opens More Aid Slots for OFWs After Fast Sign-Ups

DUBAI: The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) MWO-Dubai office will reopen applications for financial aid for Overseas Filipino Workers in Dubai and the Northern Emirates at 8 a.m. on May 5 and May 8.

OFWs are advised to wait for the link to the application form to be released in the official Facebook Page of MWO Dubai.

Who Can Apply for the Assistance

The program is for OFWs affected by the ongoing Middle East crisis. This includes workers who lost jobs, had reduced income, or experienced work disruption.

However, not everyone can apply again. If you already received financial assistance during the crisis, you are no longer eligible for the new batches.

Required Documents Before You Apply

Applicants must prepare the following documents:

  • Request for Assistance (RFA) form
  • Passport bio page
  • Emirates ID
  • Proof of overseas employment
  • Proof of work disruption

Check this link on or before 8 am to register on the Request for Assistance (RFA) form on May 5 and 8.

How Much Aid You Will Receive

Qualified applicants will receive a one-time financial assistance of USD 200, or around AED 730.

The payout will be released across the UAE. Beneficiaries can receive the money through Al Ansari remittance centers or similar channels.
