List of Philippine Schools in the UAE

If you are living in the UAE with your family or if you are planning to bring them there, then you should also think about which school your children can go to. Fortunately, there are several schools in the country that cater mostly to the Filipino community.

The following schools, which are situated across the UAE, offer excellent educational programs for Filipinos as well as other nationalities.

1. The Philippine School (TPS)

The Philippine School (TPS) began its first school year in 2008-2009. It is located at Al Twar 3 and was established to address the growing Filipino community in Dubai. The school provides values-based education and advanced technology programs. It also offers Grades 11 and 12 — levels that were introduced to most Philippine schools only recently.

2. Far Eastern Private School (FEPS)

The Far Eastern Private School (FEPS) was founded in 2001 at Al Shahba, Sharjah. By providing an enriched curriculum and educational facilities, it is focused on the students’ “holistic growth.” The school has a roster of well-trained faculty; many of its students have also been admitted to top Philippine universities such as UP, De La Salle, MAPUA, and others.

3. New Filipino Private School (NFPS)

The New Filipino Private School (NFPS) was established in 1996 at Dasman, Sharjah. Notably, it is the first Filipino school in the country to be licensed to operate under the Filipino Curriculum by the Ministry of Education in Sharjah as well as the Department of Education (DepEd) in Manila. Many of its graduates have also been admitted to top Philippine universities and are now excelling in their chosen fields.

4. United International Private School (UIPS)

The United International Private School (UIPS) is the first Philippine school in Dubai. Located in Al Qusais, it hosts around 1,800 students and prides itself for having a “culture of excellence, creativity, and discipline.” The school uses the Differentiated Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment (DCIA) Program as well as the Direct Instructional System for teaching. At present, the UIPS is also a testing center for top colleges and universities in the Philippines

5. Philippine Emirates Private School (PEPS LLC)

PEPS LLC was began in September 2013 to address the concern of having a Filipino school for the Pinoy expat community. The school is located at East Baniyas, Abu Dhabi. This was also formerly known as PISCO Private School.

6. The Philippine Global School (TPGS)

TPGS was established on opened September 2015 of the Academic Year 2015-2016 with the carrier banner, “Leader in Academic Excellence and Values Formation.” Over 1800 students enrolled during its first year of operation.
