This Betawi restaurant was a bit difficult to find at the beginning, but we were accompanied by newfound friends who have already been there. It’s actually just a small restaurant tucked inside a street in Karama. Despite the size, they serve a variety of dishes from Indonesia and the prices are actually not bad!

Their main meals cost a minimum of 25 AED (excluding drinks). This is a good deal especially for those who are looking for unique finds in the city. Here’s the food that we ordered.

Grilled Marinated Chicken with Steamed Rice

Choice of Beef Rendang or Grilled Chicken with Vegetable Curry, Egg Balado and Sweet Soya Bean
As a guy who prefers spending less when dining out, this restaurant in Dubai is truly a great find! This is not a posh place which is not bad thing and it’s value for your money.
