5 Things to Expect from Bluewaters Island

Coming soon to Dubai is Bluewaters Island, a new haven for luxury living, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Situated off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Residence, it is also the home of the upcoming Ain Dubai (formerly called Dubai Eye) — the world’s largest observation wheel!

The island is connected to the mainland via a roadway from Sheikh Zayed Road. Pretty soon, there will also be a mono rail system that will transport guests from the metro station to the entertainment zone. Keep on reading to learn more about this fantastic island!

What to Expect from Bluewaters Island

Bluewaters Island is brought to us by Meraas, one of the county’s leading developers. Here is a “sneak peek” of what we can expect to find in this mesmerizing destination:

For those who are looking for a relaxing respite from the “hustle and bustle” of city life, the island offers luxurious residences. These include a premium selection of townhouses, apartments, and penthouses — all offering a majestic view of the sea.

Those who are traveling by private vehicles can go to the island via a bridge that connects it to Sheikh Zayed Road. Meanwhile commuters can reach Bluewaters Island through the Dubai Metro’s Nakheel Harbour and Towers station.

#4 – Convenient Access
If you prefer a more “leisurely” access, you can simply walk to the island via a 265-metre pedestrian bridge that links it with the Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) beachfront.
